From form to funding, the Esketit process runs six steps: submit one request, we share it with participating lenders, offers arrive, you compare and choose, the chosen lender verifies and you sign, and funds land — commonly within one to two business days end to end when documents are ready. This page walks each step with its typical clock.
The Six Steps
Step 1: Complete the request form
About five minutes: your amount ($500–$5,000), contact details, income and its source, and where funds should land. Type from documents, not memory — applications that match their paperwork verify fastest.
Step 2: We share it with participating lenders
Your request reaches lenders whose criteria appear compatible with your profile. The initial review typically uses a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your score.
Step 3: Offers arrive
Interested lenders respond, commonly within minutes to hours on business days, each with a complete offer: amount, APR, term, monthly payment, and fees. Multiple offers may arrive — that is the design working.
Step 4: You compare and choose
Read each offer by APR and total of payments, reconstruct it in the calculator, and test the payment against your budget. Accept the one that fits, or none; nothing obligates you before signature.
Step 5: Verification and signature
Your chosen lender confirms identity, income, and banking — fast when documents are ready and follow-ups are answered promptly. Acceptance is usually an e-signature.
Step 6: Funding
Money typically lands in your checking account the next business day after final approval, sometimes same-day for early signatures. Any origination fee is deducted first; the offer states both figures.
The Honest Timeline
The form is minutes. Lender responses are commonly hours on business days. Verification is where timelines diverge — the borrower with pay stubs, ID, and bank details in one folder, answering follow-ups within the hour, keeps a same-day-to-next-day pace; the borrower who submits and disappears stretches the same process across a week. Funding after final approval is typically the next business day. End to end, one to two business days is a realistic well-prepared timeline, and our eligibility page lists the exact document folder that keeps it.
What to Have Ready
Government photo ID; Social Security number; two recent pay stubs or, if self-employed, three months of bank statements; a bill matching your stated address; bank routing and account numbers. Assemble the folder before submitting and verification becomes a formality. For the fuller preparation picture — sizing the amount, knowing your rate neighborhood, testing the payment — the apply page carries the complete pre-application checklist.
After Funding
Your first payment date sits in the agreement, commonly about thirty days out. Calendar it, enroll in autopay where offered, and keep the signed agreement with the funding confirmation in one folder. Prepayment is typically penalty-free in this range — every extra principal dollar shortens the term — and if a hard month ever approaches, call the lender before the due date, when flexibility is at its maximum. Questions at any stage: the FAQ first, the contact page for anything it misses.
